Signs From the Universe That You Should Never Ignore
Billboards, Stop Signs, Signposts
The universe is sometimes less subtle than our human minds would expect. Unfortunately, we humans also tend to go through life a little stubbornly and with the proverbial blinders on. Sometimes it’s necessary to speak in clear language. Such as the language of the universe. Does that surprise you? It speaks to us in a universal way that is generally understandable. However, as is well known, no one is more blind than one who does not want to see. That is why even the universe sometimes uses a sledgehammer to clearly guide us on the right path. Therefore, you should take seriously the following 6 signs that we will discuss in this article.
1. Dreams as a Messengers
It is said that our soul wanders when we dream. No wonder then that all cultures and religions of the world attach importance to dreams in some way. Geographically, this tradition stretches from the dreamtime tales of the Australian Aborigines to the dream-interpreting tribes of North America. The world religions also speak, in their parables and teachings, of the importance of dreams. This knowledge is not only very widespread but also very old. When you wake up in the morning, try to remember your dreams; make it a habit. If you want to delve deeper into it, keep a dream diary in which you write down your nightly experiences.
2. Stumbling Blocks Pave Your Way
Perhaps you are attracted to a specific job, a very specific hotel on a vacation, or a special person whom you can't get out of your head. Then you discover that the job is already taken, the hotel is fully booked, and you never see the special person again. What seems like a disappointment at first is actually a gift. It’s not always recognizable right away, but sometimes we realize afterwards that this path would not have been the right one for us. The job was in a company that soon went bankrupt. The hotel had a small problem with the health department, and unfortunately we later realize that the person we had wished to meet would not have been a good companion for us. When the universe says no to you, reply with thanks.
3. Coincidences Piled Atop Coincidences
Anyone whose life is reasonably peaceful and harmonious knows intuitively that coincidences are very clear signs from the universe. If you walk through your everyday life with your eyes open, you will encounter them constantly. If something drops into our laps, it should probably simply be here with us. On the other hand, if it becomes troublesome, then it shouldn't be with us. Science speaks of synchronicity, i.e. simultaneous events. The psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung used the term “coincidence” to describe a series of events that have no established or obvious connection. There is therefore no causal relationship between them. Science, too, cannot satisfactorily define or explain it. The converse conclusion that supernatural powers are at play here is probably sufficiently justified.
4. You Lose or Break Things
Sometimes things have to get lost in order for us to get back on track. If things keep falling out of our hands, or are forgotten, then the universe may be talking to us here too. We may have gotten bogged down or have reached a point in life where an urgent inventory of the current situation is required. Of course such events could be interpreted in many ways, but if everything is getting to be too much for you, you should not be surprised if chaos and turbulence are your constant companions; it is probably high time to reexamine and set priorities. If our lives get out of hand and unpleasant events keep piling up, we may have just lost the joy of life. Some unusual events are associated with bringing luck, but others may just be delivering a message to us from the universe. Take a step back and focus on what really matters to you. Otherwise, loss and destruction will accompany you through everyday life until you understand the message.
5. Fables, Natural Phenomena, and Animal Symbols
Now it's admittedly a little esoteric. But also with regard to natural phenomena, the story is long and the examples are almost inexhaustible. Many faiths and religions attach great importance to inexplicable phenomena from flora and fauna. The best-known examples of divine and supernatural signs from nature are Odin's ravens in Viking mythology and the appearance of animal symbols in all the natural religions of indigenous peoples. Even today we might be rather irritated if a black cat crosses our path, or a black raven circles above us with piercing eyes—are such events transmitting messages to us from the universe? Rainbows also fall into this category. Celtic mythology holds that treasure is buried at the rainbow’s end. But there is no need to attach too much importance to these phenomena. If the sight of a colorful rainbow, a white feather, or a tree blowing in the wind just encourage us to stop for a moment, the purpose has already been served. Even less spiritual people need a break now and then.
6. It's Good When It Feels Good.
Even William Shakespeare knew it. If it's not good, then something may be “rotten in the state of Denmark.” That means that you know you are on the right path when your thoughts are in complete harmony with your feelings and your body. That sounds a bit like a mind-expanding experience, but in the end it just means health. Toxic people and toxic relationships can literally make us sick. The same applies to jobs and professional activities that are not fulfilling, that under- or overwhelm us, or that are simply not our calling. Unfortunately, when something or someone makes us sick, it must be understood literally. Conversely, the right path, the good decision, and the ideal partner, just make us feel good in every respect. We are on cloud nine and for a short time we can at least guess what it feels like to be able to soar. A feeling of exhilaration is a sure sign that you’re heading in the right direction and that things are looking up.
Today’s Conclusion: Keep Your Eyes on the Road.
Life is not always easy. There are so many challenges to overcome, so many decisions to make. If we can trust our gut feeling, this is an important step in the right direction. However, even if your gut is incorrect, there is still a protective hand over us that always has at least one eye on us—the universe. It doesn't matter what names we give it or whether we want to see this unearthly power in the context of a religion or a very individual belief. Or as a great twentieth-century philosopher used to put it: whatever carries you through life. That’s okay, but we shouldn't ignore the signs Goodness is constantly sending us. As in any traffic situation, also along the path of life: keep your eyes on the road and focus on the goal.
